1. Data We Process

We process the following data only as needed to operate the service:

  • LINE user ID to identify where responses should be sent
  • Messages you send to perform translation or AI assistance
  • Images you upload to run OCR and translation

2. Purpose of Processing

  • Providing English-Thai translation
  • Providing audio playback for translated text
  • Providing the AI assistant feature
  • Improving reliability, performance, and usability
  • Investigating technical issues and abuse

3. Data Retention

We do not intentionally store message content or images after processing completes.

  • Messages and images are processed in memory and discarded after use
  • Translation results are not kept as user history
  • Operational logs may contain limited technical metadata for debugging and security

4. Third-Party Services

We use services such as Google Cloud, LINE, and Stripe to deliver the app. These providers process data as needed to perform their parts of the service.

4.1 Stripe Payments

Premium payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.

  • Data shared with Stripe: LINE user identifier metadata and selected pricing plan
  • Card data: card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by EngThaiTransAI
  • Subscription data: subscription status and billing history are managed by Stripe

5. Security

  • HTTPS encryption in transit
  • Cloud platform access controls and secret management
  • Least-privilege access for infrastructure and service accounts

6. Cookies and Analytics

The LINE bot itself does not use cookies. The website may use analytics tools to understand visits and improve the landing pages.

We may update this policy when the service changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
